At this time we are not accepting consignment apparel, boots, or harnesses.
Cleaning Service: The cleaner your saddle is, the faster we can sell it, and a good cleaning will often increase the value of your saddle! We offer cleaning service on leather saddles that includes:
- A full deep cleaning
- Metal polishing
- Dye where necessary
Saddle Cleaning is a base price of $50 for most saddles. Extensive silver is an additional charge. If we find repairs are necessary we will call you for approval. Repair costs are materials plus labor. If your saddle is very dirty or the leather is stiff and dry, Diamond Royal Tack reserves the right to refuse your saddle for consignment unless cleaned.
Pricing: We leave the pricing decision to the Consignor. Some people prefer to take less, and have a saddle sell quickly, while others prefer a possible longer wait, to try to get as much as possible. We recommend you price according to market value for brand but realize some may be more difficult to find information on than others. If you would like advice call and ask for Amanda or Molly and we would be happy to help!
Safety checks: Please note that Diamond Royal Tack checks every saddle before accepting them into our consignment program for broken/twisted trees, thinning or cracked billets, loose stitching and other possible defects that would make the saddle unsafe. In the event that your saddle has a problem that can be fixed to make it usable again, we will call you to find out if you would like to have it repaired. If the tree is broken or the saddle is unsafe and cannot be repaired, the saddle will be returned to you at your expense. You are welcome to call or email to receive a repair quote prior to sending your saddle in for consignment.
